Actor Hafþór Júlíus ‘Thor’ Björnssonm, who became successful game of Thronesand wife, Kelsey Henson, they announced that their baby girl was stillborn. About a month ago they celebrated their healthy pregnancy.

Both took to Instagram this Friday, the 10th, to inform fans of the death.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the birth of our daughter, Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir, born November 8 at 9 p.m.,” the text read. “After a noticeable decrease in movement we discovered that her heart had stopped beating. Words cannot describe our grief at this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter. She is absolutely beautiful, with eyelashes and eyebrows blonde and with a little smile for mom and dad”, he continues.

The actor stressed that despite the pain, the love he feels for his daughter is “overwhelming” and will be with the couple “forever.”

“All the hopes and dreams we had for her have been taken away from us, but I know I will be with her again,” he lamented, adding that the little girl’s spirit will live on through the couple and her siblings.

Thor and Kelsey announced in October what would be the couple’s second child and the Hollywood artist’s third.

“Life is precious. I couldn’t be happier to announce that our family is growing. Kelsey is 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy who we can’t wait to meet! She doesn’t want to know the sex of this pregnancy, so you have to wait for everyone like me”, they wrote at the time.

Married since 2018, they are the parents of Stormur, 3 years old. The actor also has a daughter named Theresa from a previous relationship.

In addition to the series “Game of Thrones”, in which he starred in 17 episodes between 2014 and 2019, he also starred in the films “Desert Confrontation” (2019) and “The Northman” (2023).
