Thaila Ayala vents after hospital leaks information about her daughter: ‘We were vulnerable’

Actress and presenter Thaila Ayala has taken to social media to protest the hospital where her six-month-old daughter Tereza was recently admitted. She claims that a few hours after the child was admitted to the unit’s intensive care unit, the news had already spread on news sites. Thaila did not reveal the name of the hospital.

“I thought about letting it go, but I really don’t think I should. I was extremely disappointed by the attitude of the hospital where my daughter was admitted in not protecting the security of information and the confidentiality of Tereza’s hospitalization. In the first hours of hospitalization , information was leaked that our daughter was hospitalized in intensive care, information that we had not even communicated to our family because we were in a vortex of worry and apprehension”, reads part of the text.

Thaila, married to actor Renato Góes, says that, in addition to worries about her daughter’s health, she also had to deal with “a wave of messages from the press and family”.

“Imagine the difficulty of having to deal with your six-month-old daughter, in need of oxygen and help to breathe, sedated to accept oxygen? Add to this very difficult and delicate moment a wave of calls and messages from the press and family who discovered him this way. We felt vulnerable and insecure,” he added.

Thaila also reported that in another hospitalization of Tereza, in another hospital, when the little girl underwent heart surgery, everything was done respectfully. “We had the right to talk about what we had experienced at that moment and in the way we preferred. This is the attitude we expect from a hospital: responsibility and seriousness. Unfortunately that is not what we had to face this time.”

Little Tereza was born with a congenital malformation called VSD (Intraventricular Communication), an opening in the wall between the left and right ventricle, which was the reason for the surgery she underwent in July 2023. Also Thaila Ayala and Renato Góes are the parents of Francisco, 1 year and 10 months.
