Ana Hickmann deleted all photos with her husband, Alexandre Correa, from her Instagram account after the domestic violence accusation. The presenter filed a complaint with the police on Saturday 11th afternoon after being targeted by her husband during an argument that took place in the couple’s home in Itu, in the hinterland of São Paulo.

According to information from CNN Brasil, in the complaint to the Itu Central Police Station, the presenter revealed that she was talking to her son in the kitchen when her husband heard it and did not like the content. The argument scared the boy, who left the place. Alexandre allegedly pushed Ana against the wall and threatened to headbutt her.

In an attempt to free herself from her husband, Ana Hickmann grabbed her cell phone from the table to ask for help. The businessman closed the kitchen door, hitting Ana on her arm, who ended up locking her husband out of the room and calling the police.

When the Military Police arrived, the businessman was no longer at home. The presenter denied the protective measures provided for by the Maria da Penha Law. She went to the hospital alone and was examined by an orthopedist. Her left arm was immobilized by a bruised elbow.

In a statement released to the press, the presenter confirmed the brawl, but did not mention the attack. “After an argument between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the Military Police was called and the presenter was taken to the Police District to clarify the facts. Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks her for her affection and solidarity from his fans and informs that he is at home, is well and fortunately has not suffered any significant consequences to his physical integrity”, reads the statement.

After denying any disagreement with the woman in contact with columnist Leo Dias – the first to report the fight -, Alexandre released a statement in which he confirmed the “disagreement” and apologized. “Yesterday, in fact, I had an argument with my wife, an absolutely isolated situation, which did not generate any significant consequences. I would also like to point out that I never gave her a headbutt, as falsely reported by the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time. I take this opportunity to apologize to my entire family for what happened. We have been married for 25 years, without any event of this nature having occurred. I have always served Ana as her agent, with all zeal, l ‘affection and respect, how I treat the 7 women I work with in my office,’ he said in a social media post.
