The former BBB Wagner Santiago spoke last Tuesday, the 14th, after seeing his name mentioned in the comments on the posts in which Gleici Damascene reports having been abused and assaulted by an ex-boyfriend.

In the publications made by the BBB18 champion on Twitter/X, she cited the case of Ana Hickmannwho was attacked by her husband, Alessandro Correarecently.

“Given the countless messages I have received in the last few hours, I would like to officially comment on the events that occurred and this will be the only thing I will say about it. I had a relationship with Gleici Damasceno which officially began in April 2018 and ended definitively in December 2019. We are more than three years away from this conclusion,” Santiago wrote at the beginning of the note.

According to him, his relationship with Gleici went through “many ups and downs, family problems, schedule conflicts, overexposure, haters and gossip.” All this, in his opinion, happened because the relationship began within the Globo reality show.

“Yesterday I was surprised by the accusations of aggression/abuse in some posts in support of a woman, victim of domestic violence, advanced by Gleici, a situation in which my name was not mentioned, but there were insinuations”, underlined the influencers.

“Although I cannot now evaluate or judge the triggers and motivations that brought all this to light, I can understand what he felt and feels to this day, and from the words I said at that moment, in the purest sincerity, I ask your forgiveness,” he said. “I would like to point out that this type of behavior which was supposedly linked to me does not correspond to my attitudes in my emotional and interpersonal relationships, and if unfortunately traumas have occurred in relationships which have become toxic over time, I ask for forgiveness and affirm that my quest to be a better human being does not include these traits,” he continued.

The former BBB also said that the best decision was to end the relationship. “My manifestation of change was to stand firm in my decision, finish it and keep it that way, it was difficult, but it was the right thing to do. I can say that I am a man who tries to embrace my weaknesses, the problems related to masculinity, much more aware of my role and always available to listen”, concludes the note.
