We compare the first and the last composition of VIA Gra: who is the coolest?

Few people remember what the composition of the VIA Gra group looked like at the very beginning. We are ready to recall, and at the same time compare the first and current girl group teams.

We compare the first and the last composition of VIA Gra: who is the coolest?

In 1995, the Brilliant group was created, and a few years later, in 2000, against the background of their popularity, a rival girl group appeared – the VIA Gra group. The idea for the team belonged to TV producer Dmitry Kostyuk, and Konstantin Meladze became the music producer.

Alena Vinnitskaya was the first to be invited to VIA Gro. Later, two other girls joined her and together they starred in the video for the song “Attempt No. 5”. Alas, the result did not suit the producers, and the trio disbanded, leaving only Vinnitsa. Subsequently, Nadezhda Granovskaya joined her, and the story of VIA Gra began with this duet. Together they took part in the re-shooting of the video, and this time everything worked out.

By the way, a fun fact: initially they wanted to call the group “Silver”, but then they came up with “VIA Gra”.

Over the next 20 years, the composition changed about 20 times! Can you imagine? Each new line-up acquired its own star, each track was a new hit. In a word, it was bright!

In recent years, VIA Gra cannot boast of its former popularity, songs extremely rarely become hits, but the group continues to exist. From October 2020 to the present, Ksenia Popova, Sofia Tarasova and Uliana Sinetskaya sang in the trio. Are you listening to VIA Gro today?
