Singer Perlla, her husband, businessman Patrick Abrahão, and her father, Ivonélio Abrahão, have been sued by a couple for an alleged financial pyramid scheme. The information was published on Friday 24th by the newspaper’s journalist Ancelmo Gois The globe.

According to Luciane and Alexandre, they invested R$146,000 in cryptocurrency investment packages and contributions, which were sold by the company, but started having difficulty accessing the website to check the returns. After a year they were blocked from the system.

In the trial, the couple asks for the return of the sum and compensation of R$ 100,000 for moral damages.

Patrick’s arrest

Patrick and Ivonélio were arrested in October 2022 in the La Casa de Papel operation, by the PF, the Federal Revenue and the National Mining Agency. The indictment concerns a transnational financial pyramid scheme in more than 80 countries.

According to the PF, Patrick was under investigation for crimes against the national financial system, monetary evasion, ideological falsehood, money laundering, usurpation of public assets, environmental crimes and embezzlement.

Perlla’s husband was jailed for 10 months, and in August 2023, his arrest was invalidated by the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region (TRF3).
