
Actress Marilu Bueno, 82, has been hospitalized since May 27 at the Miguel Couto hospital in Rio de Janeiro. According to the newspaper O Globo, the artist’s situation is considered serious. She has undergone abdominal surgery and is in intensive care, sedated and on a ventilator.
With several roles in the theater, Marilu Bueno made her soap opera debut in 1972, with “O Bofe”, and has been a constant presence on the screens ever since. Her most recent roles include Narcisa in “Êta Mundo Bom!” (2016), by Walcyr Carrasco, and Dulce Sampaio in “Salve-se Quem Puder” (2020), by Daniel Ortiz.
