Simaria makes a new vent on the contrasts with Simone: ‘I will not be silent anymore’

In a new outburst of conflicts with her sister Simone, singer Simaria, who has announced a break from the shows to take care of her health, said that “with 40 years she will not be silent anymore”.

In an interview at the next edition of Domingo Espetacular, broadcast tomorrow, 19, on Record TV, the singer opened up about the pressures she has suffered. “We won together. But it doesn’t mean that if you win together you must die as a duplinha forever.”

But, despite the frictions, Simaria underlines the love she feels for Simone and says that this union has always been put to the test. “Do you know how many people have tried to break this? Every time someone tries to break this brotherhood. It’s not easy,” she said.

At the first show after Simaria’s break, held on Thursday 16 in Rio de Janeiro, Simone got excited and acknowledged that he had ‘exaggerated’.

“I confess that it is very bad for me to be here without her. However much I may have exaggerated my care, because the brother takes care, the brother loves, the brother protects”, said Simone amid the shouts of the audience. “Do you know what it’s like to spend a lifetime, since you were 6, singing with half your life?” She added, recalling the family history.

Quarrels and disagreements

The sisters were the protagonists of a series of fights and disagreements. In May, an audio of a fight between Simone and Simaria leaked in Ratinho’s program. The two did not agree on what to sing on stage, but Simone explained: “We are not fighting, only brothers ‘fight’. The love we feel for each other is greater than anything else.”

In June, another discussion emerged as to why Simaria would have felt ill and had arrived about 1 hour and 20 late for the show in São João de Caruaru. Simone started the show without her sister, who only had time to sing three songs and didn’t want to finish the show.

Positioning themselves on the disagreement, the duo tried to play with the situation and, instead of an alleged ‘official statement’ video, they released a clip of one of their new songs, “Amiga”, available on April 29th.

But apparently, all was not well between the sisters. In an interview with columnist Leo Dias, of Metrópoles, Simaria made no secret of Simone’s pain and said that her partner tries to control her.

“It was my cry for help, because all I’m about to do is scolded by Simone. Do you have any idea what it means to spend 20 or more years of your life being told to shut up and not to be yourself?”: ” I don’t have to face it. You do 30 shows in a month, run out of food all day, go hungry. “
