Singer Naiara Azevedo gave an interview to Fantastic, from TV Globo, and showed purple bruises on her legs and arms after reporting her ex-husband for domestic violence. The article will be shown on the night of Sunday 3rd, but a teaser has already been released on social media.

In the exclusive chat, the country singer accuses her ex-husband, Rafael Cabral, of assault. She went to a police station in the early hours of Thursday the 30th and filed a complaint with the Goiás police.

“The Civil Police of Goiás informs that it has registered a police report relating to the incident that occurred with the victim singer, which was promptly intervened, and that Deaem is already adopting all investigative measures in accordance with the provisions of the Maria da Penha Law “, we read in the press release from the Civil Police.

Naiara contacted the police in the early hours of Thursday 30th and registered a complaint of domestic violence in Goiânia. The singer, who had previously been attacked and threatened by her ex-husband, claimed that her audio equipment had been removed from the truck on her way to a show, in order to embarrass her.

The Goiás court granted the singer a protective measure against her ex-husband. Based on the Maria da Penha Law, the measure was adopted with the aim of protecting the physical, mental, patrimonial and moral integrity of the artist.

The trial takes place in secret before the courts. The artist’s exhibition scheduled for this Saturday 2nd in Vale de São Domingos (MT) has been suspended. In a statement, Naiara’s defense stated that the presentation will be rescheduled, but there is no date set yet. For now the singer’s other events are maintained.

Rafael did not acknowledge the accusations made against him and his family by the singer. “I strangely received statements and legal orders involving my name and family. My story with Naiara was built with many struggles and difficulties, where two discredited people succeeded together achieve much more than they imagined and achieve a career successful and nationally recognized artistic project. Our complicity and partnership have always been the ingredients of our results”, begins the text by Rafael Cabral sent to the press.

In another excerpt, the businessman acknowledges that he made a mistake as a husband, but does not go into detail. He praises Naiara again.

“I humbly recognize my mistakes and human weaknesses as a husband, I respect and welcome the decisions of justice and I hope that through dialogue we can build a consensus and clarify any doubts and disagreements. She is a complete artist and a person incredible […] She has my total admiration and the affection of my entire family, I always wish her the greatest success in the world”, completes the note.
