Have you ever thought about having a spider as a scene partner? Early in her career, Julia Gomes had to overcome her fear while playing Marian Chiquititasto act alongside Brunilda, the name of the animal that belonged to the evil Matilda.

In an exclusive interview with Earththe actress revealed that she has overcome the trauma professionally and that the artist’s life is about leaving her comfort zone. “I had a fear of spiders, it was like an arachnophobia, very strong. I remember that the first time I discovered that I would be playing next to Brunilda, who is the tarantula, I was very nervous, I couldn’t enter the room where she was.”

And it looks like the on-stage partnership has paid off for Julia. “It was a very important scene. And nowadays, if a spider appears, my boyfriend is scared, I go and remove the spider,” she reveals, laughing.

Now, at 23, the actress is successful in the role of the evil Luane, Rensga strikes!from Globoplay. “She is very determined, but sometimes she can play a little dirty. I think you will be very surprised by Luane, but of course I am suspicious of saying this, but Luane is very talented,” he defended.

Despite the busyness of everyday life, Julia Gomes revealed that she has started to prioritize herself more between last year and this year. “I started taking better care of myself, from my hair, to my skin care, to my diet. So I always try to eat healthier things. Obviously, a sweet treat, a burger here or there, every now and then, it’s fine, no problem, but I fell in love with Pilates.”
