Influencer Saulo Poncio, 27, was arrested in Orlando, United States, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Thursday 7th. Estadao. The arrest occurred on November 4, when the influencer was in the country.

“This person was arrested on a Las Vegas warrant,” the newspaper reported. The agency, however, did not provide further details on the reason for the arrest.

According to a report on the website F5, Saulo was arrested on shoplifting charges in Las Vegas. He was accompanied by a friend and had to post bail of $88,500 (about R$430,000 at current rates) to be released the same day.

Saulo has already returned to Brazil and is with his family in the villa where he lives, in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro. He is the eldest son of pastor Márcio Poncio, of the Anabaptist Pentecostal Church.
