The actress Claudia Alencar he underwent lumbar spine surgery this Sunday, the 24th, in Rio de Janeiro. According to the artist’s consultants, the surgery was successful, but the artist’s health condition is still serious. Claudia has been hospitalized since last Sunday, the 17th, due to a bacterial infection.

In the artist’s latest medical bulletin, released late on Sunday afternoon, we read that Claudia had “clinically worsened in the last 24 hours, with findings compatible with septicemia and hemodynamic instability”, i.e. generalized infection AND blood pressure instability. According to hospital information, Claudia remains sedated and subjected to mechanical ventilation. She also undergoes treatment with broad-spectrum antibiotics.

During surgery, doctors collected secretions from the inflammation to identify the bacteria causing the actress’s infection.

Claudia Alencar’s son, Yann Hatchuel, said this last Saturday Estadao that the mother’s situation is “serious” and that she is battling a “serious” infection. “It’s tough, but she’s a great warrior,” Hatchuel said.
