The journalist Mayara Decotefrom TV Record Rio, was hit live by a recyclables collector. The accident occurred in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday 31st.

The reporter was making a live appearance for the RJ on the air when a collector hit her with his cart. Mayara got scared, she stopped talking, but soon she resumed the conversation with host Wagner Montes Filho. There was talk of a military police officer killed in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro.

In a video circulating on social media you can see the moment in which the collector hits the journalist. He was carrying several polystyrene boxes and, due to the volume of the material, he was unable to see the journalist on the street.

After the incident, Mayara joked about the situation: “Well, Waguinho, you saw that we had a problem here, right? It’s so live,” Mayra said.
