It’s not even new to say that “Pantanal” was a huge hit on and off the screen, right? The remake of the plot is also among the most talked about topics on Twitter in Brazil.

Just to give you an idea, since its debut until June 16, there have been over 1 million tweets on the soap opera. Data from the platform shows that this content has had more than 329 million views, with 8.7 million likes. There are 618,000 retweets and 166,000 comments on the work.

Between content, people comment on chapters, discuss theories, browse couples, and, of course, share memes. The preference for using media – image, video or gif – is excellent: 31% of the quotes from “Pantanal” have some of these resources.

And the soap opera doesn’t just play while it’s on, see? Almost half of the tweets (47%) are done outside the serial’s airtime. The days with the highest number of average conversations are Monday and Thursday, with Sunday being the only non-airing day, the one with the lowest volume.

The most talked about characters of the Pantanal, so far, are Juma, Jove, Maria Bruaca, Guta, Muda and Zê Leôncio. Take a look at some highlighted reactions:
