Last Friday, 5th, the 22 year old singer from Bahia, Luca Pisanewas announced as a new member of the Big Brother Brazil 2024. The resident of Lauro de Freitas, Bahia, was once the singer of two groups that started in high school and played with the daily life of the school.

One of the groups, called The Nymphswas created in 2019 and played with band members’ teachers.

In addition to the classroom parodies, Os Ninfetos also released four singles between 2020 and 2021 and the album Extra class in 2021.

“Our intention was, every time a teacher’s class arrived, to play a game, a song for the teacher, to make the class more interactive. These school days are always memorable for our emotional memory. So the band left this school period even more special,” Ruan Brito, former dancer and backing vocalist of the band, told the newspaper Mail.

In an interview with the magazine Fraudfrom the Faculty of Communication at the Federal University of Bahia, members of the pagode band spoke about how the band’s virality took them by surprise.

“It was really unpretentious. Our intention was never to create a review outside the theater,” says Ruan. “I don’t feel famous, but there have been these ‘I’m famous’ situations. I think I broke barriers beyond my bubble,” Pizane said.

The band members announced the end of the musical project as they realized that “there was no longer any identification and, therefore, there would be no point in continuing” in July 2022.
