Content creators Nath Finance AND Nathalia Arcuri, who work to democratize access to financial matters on the Internet, have been feuding over their personal brands in recent days. Last Tuesday, the 16th, Nath Finance published a video in which it exposed the situation, claiming that Acuri was trying to damage it.

“That’s not today [Nathalia Arcuri] tries to harm me in some way, with the legal environment trying to hinder my work,” began Nathália Rodrigues, of Nath Finance, which has had this name as a registered trademark since 2020.

According to her, the current problem concerns her brand Nath Play, the name of the streaming service she created. Since 2022 you have registered the trademark with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property) in one class and now you want to expand into two other categories.

It is at this point that Nathalia Arcuri appears. Nath Finance claims that Arcuri filed a motion on January 8 to oppose the expansion of Nath Play to these other two branches.

“The Nath Play brand is already mine, it’s already on people’s lips, it’s already registered with the INPI and this person has filed an opposition petition… He spent a lawyer, he spent money to make the opposition say, alleging something, who has rights to Nath Play, even if it doesn’t exist,” says Nath Finance.

The next day, Wednesday 17th, Nathalia Arcuri also spoke through a video published on her Instagram. In response – as you say, out of respect for her – Arcuri says that it was a misunderstanding.

“The Me Poupe brand! Today it has more than 110 registered trademarks. And you’re constantly doing research and reaching out to my team – because I haven’t been in this for a long time – to say whether they dispute something or not. Today we have more than 50 ongoing challenges, [de marcas] who use words similar to our brand Me Poupe, or our brand Na_th (artificial intelligence)… And my name is Nathalia Arcuri”, she underlines.

From this, Arcuri explained that one of these trademarks, Nath Play, has recently been challenged due to these similarities – as have many others. He added that this is a standard process. “As soon as we learned, through social media, that no type of communication had been made directly to our team, we withdrew this complaint because we understood that yes, a platform with that name already exists, with a person who is already working… So in Regarding this situation, we withdraw. So simple.”
