This Thursday the 18th the country singer Sorocaba, by the duo Fernando & Sorocaba, reported an attempted fraud via Whatsapp on their networks. The scammer attempted to impersonate the singer to ask for money, but was exposed by the victim, the singer’s mother.

Sorocaba treated the situation with humor and explained the conversation in his Stories, with the phrase: “When the criminal wants to impersonate you to carry out scams, but turns out to be your fan.” He then published the printout exposing his mother’s conversation with the scammer. In the conversation, the victim – the singer’s mother – becomes suspicious of the request made: “Sorry boy… But there is a possibility that Sorocaba asks 9 thousand from someone… Sorry”, “No one else falls for this scam.. Even more with him.” The scammer then apologizes for what happened and replies, “I’m a fan of him” and “I’ve been to several shows.”
