The actor who was the most handsome man in the world calls: “I want to die”

Frenchman Alain Delon is isolated from everyone after begging for assisted death; In Brazil, he had a love affair with a famous actress

Alain Delon’s blue eyes have been the most coveted in cinema for decades. Today the 88-year-old actor is asking people to help him close them permanently.

“I want to die, life is over,” he said, as reported by the newspaper “Le Parisien”. With physical and mental illnesses resulting from strokes, the man who was once one of the biggest sex symbols on the planet wants to bring forward the end.

In a video from 2022, one of the last times he appeared in public, the artist announced his desire for assisted death, that is, to be helped to end one’s life.

“I made my decision a long time ago. My life has been beautiful, but also difficult,” she explained. In Switzerland, where Delon has spent much of his recent time, the procedure is permitted.

Although his natural or voluntarily caused death does not occur, the actor finds himself at the center of a dispute.

His three children – Anouchka, Anthony and Alain-Fabien – accuse his former assistant, Hiromi Rollin, of keeping him in prison and mistreating him.

The French Prosecutor’s Office intervened. A recent examination concluded that the old heartthrob no longer has any discernment. As a result, he cannot make decisions about his own existence.

Unaware of his wishes, Alain Delon was taken to an estate in Douchy, northern France. Security guards prevent unauthorized persons from approaching. Not even the lawyer has access to it anymore.

Famous for his performance in classics such as “The Sun for Witness”, “The Leopard” and “Rocco and His Brothers”, the actor has a fortune valued at 150 million euros, equivalent to R$800 million.

The “god of French cinema” has been to Brazil several times. He had a love affair with the actress Norma Bengell, an icon of national cinema who, in her maturity, played Dona Deise in the humorous ‘Toma Lá Dá Cá’.

In the 70s the then model Fernanda Bruni and the singer Rosemary were courted, but they preferred not to give in to those beautiful blue eyes.
