Anita brought together more than 12 thousand people this Thursday 25th, the day of the 470th anniversary of the city of Sao Paulo, at the Memorial da América Latina, western area of the capital, for the show Anitta’s essays. The singer has performed some of her biggest hits such as Involve AND Bellakeor, in a carnival atmosphere, and if on stage the energy was total, behind the scenes he revealed that he started the year “with a really messed up energy, a bit zen in everything”.
The artist spoke to journalists before going on stage and talked about his new album, still without a release date, and his expectations regarding the project, which he defined as “a great challenge”.
“We don’t have a release date yet, but I’ll be sending out spoilers to see how people receive it and love it, they want the songs and the clips. I think it’s going to be fantastic. I don’t know if it’s going to be a big hit, to be honest I don’t know. I think this album will be a high numbers album because it’s a funk album that’s not in Portuguese. If it was funk in Portuguese, people are already used to it, if it was reggaeton in Spanish, people are already used to it. It’s a big challenge, it’s a album that I made with my heartwith the desire to show the artistic part of me that I wanted,” he began.
“It was an album I made in hospital, in 2022 I was very ill and spent a lot of time in hospital. [eu pensei] If I die tomorrow, I’ll make an album and I won’t care if they like it or not, that’s the energy. It’s an album I made without worrying about anything. But it’s one of the jobs I’m most proud of having done. In this year 2024, I have a lot of energy fuck youI just let life take me, a little zen for everything“, he explained.
