Paolla Oliveira is very resolute about motherhood. In a newspaper interview The globe published this Sunday, 28, the actress revealed that she does not intend to have children – at least for the moment, indicating that she does not completely rule out the possibility in the future. She also celebrated women’s power of choice on the topic.

When questioned, the Drum Queen of Grande Rio confessed that she had already felt uneasy about what they would think of her decision. “I was ashamed of what I thought, the opinion I had or my indecision,” she revealed.

“I have decided, right now, that I am very well and that I don’t want to have it [filhos]. The power of choice is liberating,” the actress said. She also said that egg freezing is an option for the future, stressing that it is a “privilege” and that she wants other women to be able to do it same.

Egg freezing is more common among women in their fertile period, which also makes it more expensive: the cost of the procedure can range from R$15,000 to R$25,000, according to a calculation made by Estadão in May 2023.

In the interview Paolla also spoke about the criticism she receives regarding her body, especially from men. “Sometimes I want to call him pirarucu (laughs). But I’m too lazy to waste energy,” she concluded.
