Whindersson Nunes considers the belly supportive for solo parenting

The comedian shared a message on X, formerly Twitter, questioning information about the legislation in Brazil

Comedian Whindersson Nunes is considering becoming a father through the supportive belly method, as revealed in a post on Platform X (formerly Twitter).

In the publication, he asked, “Is assisted birth allowed for a single father in Brazil? I wanted my son to be Brazilian,” demonstrating his interest in understanding Brazilian legal guidelines regarding the method, particularly for single men.

This interest comes to light after a difficult period in Whindersson’s personal life. In May 2021, he and Maria Lina suffered the loss of their son, João Miguel, who was born prematurely at 22 weeks gestation.

The comedian’s press office issued a statement at that time: “The press office of Whindersson Nunes regretfully informs you of the death of his son, João Miguel, in the early hours of this Monday 31st. Fruit of the union with Maria Lina , the little girl who was born prematurely, at 22 weeks, did not survive. We count on everyone’s understanding in solidarity with the family.”
