After four months in hospital, the teacher dies after being thrown with a toy in Mirabilandia

The teacher Dávine Muniz Cordeiro he died this Thursday 01/02, more than four months after being thrown from a toy that was spinning in the air at Mirabilandia, an amusement park located in Olinda. She was admitted to Hapvida Hospital on Ilha do Leite, in Recife.

The 34-year-old woman underwent ten repair surgeries after the accident, which occurred on September 22, 2023. According to her family, the teacher lost half of her brain.

According to her family, she died at 6:04 am. The hospital report listed severe head trauma as the cause of her death.

In a statement the entertainment team commented on the sad news. “The management and all those who manage Mirabilandia regret the loss of Dávine Muniz, sympathizing with the family. Few words can represent comfort at this moment, especially for those who always try to offer moments of leisure and joy. According to TV Globo, the civil police reported that “the case remains under investigation” and further information “will be provided after the conclusion of the police investigation”.
