João Pedro Modesto, model that has been identified as a case of Preta Gilspoke out about rumors that she was having a romance with the singer.

In an interview with Contigo!, he told his true relationship with the artist.

“My relationship with Carnival is a little weak. I usually don’t have a lot of fun, but here it was incredible. I see her coming back. This incredible woman and all of this is extremely incredible! I’m from São Luís do Maranhão, but I live in Lino [Maranhenses]. São João is very strong and so is Carnival. But it’s a matter of personal taste.” He said.

João stated that he and Preta are just friends: “It’s just friendship! It’s this feeling that I can’t describe. No, we don’t have something together. There’s no way to upset him, there’s no way it won’t come out, right? Impossible not to speculate! Also because of situations, everything. We have a clear conscience, of those close to us, of those who really know the truth. Whoever knows the truth, knows it and this, for me, is what makes me calmer.”

The heartthrob also opened up about how he met his daughter Gilberto Gil: “I went there [nos Lençóis], where I met Preta and she simply changed my life.
