The comedian’s name Marcelo Adnet trended on social media this Friday the 9th due to a video in which he improvises a samba-enredo with a theme, let’s say, casual: a cobblestone. Watch the video above.

At that time, he participated in the podcast Glorious connectiondedicated to Botafogo, which aired on Thursday 8th, and spoke with the presenters, Gustavo Chagas and Antonio Bento Ferraz, about how to create a samba-enredo.

“I think the most important thing is that you can take any texture and give it shine,” he said. Then, she asked one of the hosts to give him a plot to improvise. The suggestion was the pebble theme.

“Being with Adnet for two hours was one of the best experiences I’ve had. What a great guy,” posted Victor Bustamante, director of the podcast. One user wrote: “Who grew up watching 15 minutes of MTV Don’t even be scared, because musical improvisation is the essence of Adnet.”

The comedian’s talent may surprise some, but he is actually also a composer and carnival performer. At the beginning of January, a samba from Padre Miguel’s Mocidade Independente, Ask for cashews and I’ll give them to you… Cashews that give!of which Adnet is one of the composers, wreached number one on Spotify Viral Rio.

Published in June 2022 and also signed by Diego Nicolau, Paulinho Mocidade, Richard and Cabeça do Ajax, the text refers to Brazilian modernism, with the anthropophagic movement and quotes from Tarsila do Amaral, to sing the cashew fruit.
