Marvel Studios return to Comic-Con after 3 years

Marvel Studios will be present at this year’s edition of Comic-Con International in San Diego, United States. The confirmation was given by Kevin Feige, president of the studio, in a virtual press conference on the movie “Thor: Love and Thunder”.

“We will be at Comic-Con next month and we can’t wait. We can’t wait to talk about the future,” Feige said, according to sources overheard by Deadline.

Marvel’s last participation in Comic-Con dates back to the July 2019 edition. In 2020 and 2021, due to the pandemic, the event did not take place in person and Marvel chose not to participate in the online versions.

November), “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” (February 17, 2023), “Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3” (May 5, 2023), “The Marvels” (July 28, 2023), “The Fantastic Four” ( 2024) and “Blade” (undated).

Among the Disney + attractions, the next premieres are “I Am Groot” (August 10), “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes” (August 17), the holiday special “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Echo”, “Secret Invasion “,” Agatha: House of Darkness “,” Armor Wars “,” Ironheart “and” X-Men ’97 “animation.

Not all should be revealed at the traditional San Diego geek event, as Marvel will soon have another major panel at D23, the Disney convention, which is the equivalent of another Comic-Con.

Comic-Con 2022 will take place from 21 to 24 July and D23 Expo from 9 to 11 September, both in the US state of California.
