Rafael Cardoso is under investigation for assault in Rio; the pictures show the moment

Actor Rafael Cardoso was accused of assault in Rio de Janeiro. In a note sent to Estadao this Monday 4th, the State Civil Police declares that the case was registered in the 16th (Barra da Tijuca) and an investigation is underway. “Witnesses will be heard and investigations will be carried out to ascertain all the facts,” the statement reads.

The case would have happened on Monday 26th, while the actor was in a bar in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Images from the facility’s internal circuit released by The globe shows Rafael arguing with the bar staff.

You can see the manager approaching, talking to the actor and returning to the venue. Shortly after, the manager, in a blue shirt, runs into the bar and the actor, in a black shirt, follows him, banging between the tables. The two leave the place and start arguing. The man falls to the ground and the actor begins punching him.

According to the newspaper, the actor is expected to testify on Tuesday the 5th. Estadao He reached out to Rafael Cardoso’s office for comment on the case, but received no response. The space remains open.
