Four years after being accused of harassment by Terry Crews (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), Adam Venit, a former employee of the powerful talent agency WME, was accused of multiple sexual abuse by his wife, Trina Venit. The information comes from Deadline.

“Adam’s brazen public attack on a massive former male professional athlete pales in comparison to the abuses he has committed and continues to inflict on his wife behind closed doors,” reads an excerpt from the lawsuit filed last Sunday (26/6).

The allegations are strong and their description is graphically shocking. In the document, Trina denounces domestic violence, physical and sexual assaults, defamation and stalking. “Over the course of their over 20-year marriage, Adam physically, sexually, mentally, emotionally and verbally abused her, as well as constantly stalking and monitoring Trina,” the complaint read.

“Adam strangled, punched, kicked, drugged and sexually assaulted her, leaving her bleeding, bruised and scarred on numerous occasions,” the text reads. “And if all this wasn’t a nightmare enough, and despite her repeated pleas to stop, try to control his movements, communications, access to money, credit and other personal matters, and much more,” the complaint read.

Adam and Trina’s marriage began on August 6, 1999, and the divorce proceedings began in March 2021. The law firm representing Trina is the same law firm that Terry Crews hired during the plaintiff’s lawsuit against him. him, the former agent.

In 2017, Crews accused Venit of groping him during a Golden Globes event. In the documents obtained by USA Today, the interaction between the two would have been as follows: “Venit was staring intently at Crews, showing him her tongue in a provocative way.” Then “Venit grabbed Crews’ penis and testicles so hard it caused immediate pain.”

In the process, Crews stressed that he was being threatened and his participation in the fourth “The Expendables” film was canceled, due to the businessman’s ties. But months later the parties reached a private settlement and Adam Venit agreed to pay an undisclosed amount to Crews.

After this scandal, he announced that he would be retiring from his role as artist manager and is currently working at investment firm 890 Fifth Avenue Partners.

Contacted by Deadline, Adam Venit declined to comment.
