The judge of MasterChef Brazil, Helena Rizzo, revealed that she uses cannabis every day to treat insomnia. The chef explained it in an interview with the magazine Breezewhich uses the flower and oil of the plant, both medicinally and recreationally.

“I take the oil every day, three drops in the morning and three drops in the evening. It has helped me a lot with sleep, and also the inhaled flower,” he said, as reported in Mônica Bergamo’s column, from Folha de S.Paulo. The complete interview in the digital magazine will be published in full only this Thursday the 14th

According to the chef, the use of cannabis helps control thoughts and calm the mood.

“I’m a very hard working person, I do a lot of things. I feel like cannabis balances me. It balances this acceleration thing,” he reported.

Again according to Mônica Bergamo, the chef also said that she likes to read, watch films and listen to music while using the substance. Although she recognizes the benefits of the plant for her health, Helena notes that she cannot use it during work.

He recounted a negative experience at a restaurant in Spain.

“It was horrible, horrible. It doesn’t add up. I started getting into trouble, I thought I wasn’t doing it right. I never did it again. But at the weekend I relax a bit, pull myself together,” he added.

On the other hand, the chef does not rule out the possibility of creating dishes with the plant, if it becomes legal in Brazil.
