She underwent a double mastectomy a month after discovering the disease. Previously, she Olivia had undergone a genetic test that checks 90 different genes to detect cancer.

Olivia Munnactress X-Mensurprised his fans this Wednesday the 13th, revealing that he has been diagnosed with the virus breast cancer. “I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope that by sharing this I help others find comfort, inspiration and support in their journey,” she wrote on her social media.




She revealed that the diagnosis came as a surprise, as she had undergone a genetic test that checks for 90 different genes linked to the disease. “I tested negative for everything, including BRCA (the best-known gene linked to breast cancer) […] That same winter I also had a regular mammogram. Two months later I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she said.

Olivia explained that a month after the first biopsy, she underwent a double mastectomy. Additionally, the actress has undergone three different surgeries in the past 10 months.

She explained that the disease was discovered after her gynecologist calculated her “breast cancer risk assessment score,” which, according to the actress, looks at factors such as age and family history of breast cancer .

“Because of this score, I had an MRI, which led to an ultrasound, which then led to a biopsy. The biopsy showed that I had luminal B cancer in both breasts. Luminal B is a aggressive and fast-moving cancer progression,” he explained.

He concluded the message by thanking his family, friends and medical team.
