Camila Pitanga took to his social networks this Tuesday, the 26th, to share the recent diagnosis of asymptomatic pneumonia. Fully recovered, the actress used the publication to warn her followers about the risks of the disease and how she discovered her condition.

The actress posted a photo of her treatment at the Albert Einstein hospital in Rio de Janeiro on her Instagram account and warned: “I’m fine, I warn you not to alarm anyone. A little while ago I started to feel extremely tired, I imagined that it was the beginning of exhaustion due to a lot of work and personal problems that demanded a lot from me, the distance from home, the lack of my family… My body couldn’t cope,” he wrote.

She says her colleagues noticed her condition and advised her to rest. “They also asked me to do some tests to verify that it was ‘just’ tiredness. We arrived at the diagnosis, asymptomatic pneumonia, that is, without those most expected symptoms: fever, cough or any difficulty breathing.”

The actress also clarified, once again, that her pneumonia is being treated. She then explained the reason for reporting her. “This is a treatment post. March is the ‘blue’ month, a campaign for the importance of prevention, diagnosis and early treatment of colorectal cancer. Colonoscopy in this case is extremely important to detect any abnormalities , whether symptomatic or otherwise,” he revealed.

Camila concluded the text by thanking the medical team for the care received during the treatment. “This is also a thank you post…my deepest gratitude goes to you.”
