This Friday, 26th, Anitta released her new album, Funky generation. In a press conference, the singer shared details of a delicate period in her health that influenced the creation of the album.

“I was very sick. I had to get tested for cancer, I felt really bad. For a while I thought I was going to die,” Anitta said. Inspired by this experience, she added: “Since I’m about to die, I’m going to make the best album of my life.” The album explores different aspects of funk and electronic music and marks an important step in her international career, with songs in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
