Ivete Sangalo was a guest on Podpah this Friday, the 26th, and shared a little about her personal and professional life. The singer also spoke about the alleged jealous scene she had with her husband Daniel Cady, in 2016, shouting from above the trio: “Who is that, dad?”.

That year, Ivete was performing in a show when she spoke to her husband at a private party held in Guarajuba, Salvador. The video of the question she asked her partner went viral on social media and the phrase became a meme.

For hosts Igão and Mítica, Ivete shared that the situation was not easy for her. “This is still a very recurring theme, at the time it was f*ck, today I can say, it was something like that… very difficult for me, because when you do something in which only you are involved, everything is good. But when you involve someone else it’s difficult,” he underlined.

“It was the first time I had seen Daniel exposed in this way, on national television, for something I had done. I got a big stick, which was supposed to be funny, it wasn’t. It was a joke. He sleeps in my dressing room, in the threesome. Daniel is a guy who socially has a battery. I’m not! Mine is always full. He says, ‘Let’s go to a wedding.’ He gets ready, I don’t. Mine is full. I’m going to a wedding, a birthday. Not him,” he added.

The singer also gave details of what happened that night: “He was on New Year’s Eve with me, I had already celebrated New Year’s Eve in Salvador, and he was in a box in front of me, in front of my family, lying like a statue in the Museum . Then I played this game and it was crazy, man, because the other day (…) when I saw that the game was so fun, everyone had fun.”

“It was a meme, but for a creature like him it affected me, because I felt responsible for throwing out the bad tomboy that I am,” she said. Also during the conversation, Ivete revealed how she left Banda Eva in 1999 and what the group’s musicians’ reaction was when they were informed of her decision to pursue a solo career.
