The bank is responsible for bringing the queen of pop to Brazil
Madonna will perform on May 4th on Copacabana beach from 9.30pm. The show is part of The Celebration tour, which celebrates the Queen of Pop’s 40-year career.
All this is sponsored by Itaú Unibanco. This is because the company is celebrating its centenary and wanted to present Brazilians with an open, free and accessible show. The event will therefore be one of the largest outdoor dance floors in the world.
Additionally, the brand specifically chose Madonna because she is a pioneer of art and pop culture. The Queen of Pop is therefore one of the central figures of the bank’s “Made of the Future” campaign.
Finally, Rio de Janeiro was chosen because it is a place with experience and structure for events of this scale. That’s because Copacabana Beach hosted Rolling Stone in 2006 and hosts one of the largest New Year’s Eve parties in the world.
