Apparently, Diplo really enjoyed his new trip to Brazil. On his Instagram account, the artist has published a series of photos and videos, in which he appears in moments of fun in Rio de Janeiro, in events populated by celebrities (including Anitta, Narcisa Tamborindeguy, Sabrina Sato and even Madonna herself ).

In other images, DJ Diplo shows the nature of the capital Rio. “I miss Rio,” he wrote in Portuguese, and then, in his native language: “I didn’t want to leave Brazil, but it’s time to go back to work.”

Diplo was in Rio de Janeiro to open Madonna’s show on Copacabana Beach. The DJ performed a set mixing international songs and lots of Brazilian funk, sending the local audience into a frenzy. Fans even suspected that Anitta and Pabllo Vittar, who have already collaborated with the artist, would take part in the presentation, but both were only seen during the most anticipated show of the evening, together with the Queen of Pop.

When he was announced as an attraction at the opening of Madonna’s show, the American (admittedly in love with Brazil) celebrated on social media.

In the caption, he showed affection for the country: “I love you so much, Rio. You have always been my favorite city in the world. Returning to perform with Madonna next month will perhaps be the greatest event of my life.”
