While visiting Brazil, Zilu enjoys her ex’s show

Zilu Godoi, ex-wife of singer Zezé Di Camargo, attended a party in Sao Paulo where the artist was the main musical attraction. The meeting took place this week on the occasion of the celebrations for the fiftieth birthday of the lawyer Carla Morgana Denardin. Zilu, who has lived in the United States since 2019, is temporarily in Brazil for a short visit.

The event brought together former spouses who maintained a marriage for more than three decades before separating. The businesswoman attended the celebration after receiving an invitation to the party where her ex-husband would perform.

Zilu’s visit to Brazil comes after his attempt to enter Brazilian politics. In 2024 he ran for the office of city councilor in São Paulo for União Brasil, but obtained only 4,520 votes, an insufficient result for his election.

After her performance at the polls, the businesswoman decided to return to the United States, where she has lived for six years. During his electoral campaign, Zilu also put his Green Card at risk, a document that allows him to legally remain in North American territory.

Superior Electoral Court data reveals that the country singer’s ex-wife has an estimated net worth of R$8.6 million. His assets include seven apartments and a residence worth R$1.6 million.

In the United States Zilu plans to begin a new professional phase. Last month he announced his intention to open a restaurant in the countryside. “I’m going to start being an entrepreneur. That’s what we’re here for,” she said of her new business plans.

During her political career in Brazil, the entrepreneur had the support of her three children – Wanessa, Camila and Igor – as well as the collaboration of Marlene Mattos, with whom she had worked in the previous decade.
