Luiza Possi went through a really scary moment early in her career. During your participation in the What’s this Porchat thing?of GNT, the singer revealed that when she was still taking her first steps into music, she ended up suffering at the hands of a stalker.

According to the artist, the story happened 22 years ago, in a city in the state of Amazonas, and, until now, not even his mother, Zizi Possi, knew what had happened: “I didn’t tell my mother so as not to scare her. Because, in fact, the story Porchat asked me to tell could be the story of the movie ‘Scream’.”

When she and her team arrived at the airport, they were unable to board due to bad weather and, therefore, returned to the hotel. There, they went to their room, when they started receiving mysterious calls again. “We’re in the room, we don’t do anything, we talk about this and that. They called again. Who was it? Luiz.”

The singer said the phone rang a few more times, until they decided to go to sleep. “At two in the morning the phone rings: ‘Aren’t you asleep? It’s Luiz. And I’m going to the room, I’m inside the hotel.’ The message scared its producer so much that he decided to notify the hotel reception. “We hung up and he called, ‘There’s no point in calling the front desk.’ I swear to God, I talk to you and I remember the feeling of panic.”

Luiza decided to ask for help from her security guard, Souza, who was in the next room. “Then we called Souza, who was in the next room. Then Souza went to our room. And he called again. ‘There’s no point in calling security, I’m coming’. So I don’t know how he knew everything that was happening .”

The artist, his producer and the security guard spent the night together in the room, until, the next day, the stalker was finally discovered. “We got desperate to a certain point! We stayed up all night. Souza went from room to room, found Luiz, who was actually called Carlos and arrested him, took him to the city police station and he arrested Carlos. And then Carlos said, ‘There’s no point in arresting me, because I’m chasing her and I’ll keep going until I get her.’

In the end, Luiza confessed that the episode really touched her psychology and joked that, perhaps, this influenced the direction of her career. “This haunted me for the rest of my life! I think I even gave up my pop career and moved to MPB because I found it calmer.”
