The athlete traveled to the south of the country a week ago to help people and animals stranded by heavy rains.

According to him, the routine was one of little sleep, a lot of work and frequent consultations with Gustavo Nogueira. The boy is a doctor and met Scooby’s entourage in Curitiba (PR). Because rescues are carried out using boats, generally in contaminated waters, he assists with first aid and treats survivors and volunteers to avoid contamination, such as leptospirosis, which can be serious.

“He [Gustavo Nogueira] he met us [em Curitiba], sent us some medicine bags, gave us some medicines against leptospirosis. The water we enter has dead animals, dead people have passed through it, millions of bacteria. By the way, my feet are scabby,” Scooby wrote on Instagram.

He also commented that the doctor managed to donate 300 tons of basic necessities for the victims and advised fans to also donate water, food, clothing items and hygiene products.
