The presenter, in Rio Grande Do Sul since the first days of the tragedy, was unable to contain her emotion upon returning to her hometown

Patricia Poet presented the Encounter this Friday 17th directly from Saint Jerometo the Rio Grande do Sul, city where you were born. The presenter has been in the state for some time, but once she returned to her hometown she couldn’t contain her excitement.

“It’s difficult to come back here, very difficult. But when I heard that the road had reopened, I came here, I wanted to come here. I’ve had some good times in my life, I have friends since childhood, I have relatives , every street reminds me of good memories,” he said.

During the screening of the edition, Patricia walked through the streets of the city and was surprised to meet Nete, her cousin. The two became emotional and the communicator tried to calm and console the family member.

The presenter of Encounter He explained to me that it took about nine hours to get to São Jerônimo, but that it was worth it. “Everything here has a story for me, everything has symbolism. As much as I was afraid and anxious about what I would find in São Jerônimo, I had to be here to help.”

She also met friends and classmates and was once again moved. “I’m relieved to find you here and see that you’re getting back on your feet, alive and safe. It’s about having the strength to rebuild,” she said.
