‘Bridgerton’ Actors Have Funk Dance Fun With Rio Fans; look how it went!

A few days after the premiere of the first part of the third season of Bridgertonseries of NetflixThe actors Nicholas Coughlan AND Luke Newton arrived in Rio de Janeiro for a funk dance at the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. The event took place on the afternoon of this Monday, 20/05, and saw the participation of celebrities and numerous fans of the period production, inspired by Julia Quinn’s books.

On site, Nicholaswho plays gossipy Penelope Featherington and also brings the iconic Lady Whistledown to life, arrived exuding friendliness and met some fans who were at the door, as well as Luke (Colin Bridgerton), who took photos and signed autographs.

The party started early in the evening and featured a performance by MC Carol, who sang her hits and removed profanity from some of the lyrics. It is worth noting that the theme chosen for the party, funk dancing, was not revealed, but it is believed that this is due to the fact that several period dances take place in the series and the party took place in Rio de Janeiro .

Among the guests at the party, which included fan clubs of the books and the series, there were several famous people, such as Camila Queiroz, Klebber Toledo, Carla Diaz and several influencers. Many of them, in fact, immersed themselves in the atmosphere of Bridgerton and wore period clothes and hairstyles inspired by the characters.

It is worth mentioning that the first part of the third season of Bridgerton, consisting of four episodes, is now available on Netflix. The remaining episodes will be released on June 13.
