The Miss Argentina candidate is 60 years old

Until the last edition, the competition admitted participants up to 28 years of age. As the age limit passed, Alejandra Gonzales, 60, got a spot. “I came to the competition by chance, through a friend who discovered the inclusive competition, without age limits,” she told the Argentine newspaper Clarin.

“I always say: I’m 60, I don’t intend to look 30 and I don’t want people to think that I don’t have wrinkles. You have to take on the years well, but without disfiguring yourself to appear younger,” he continued.

Evaluation criteria Miss Argentina 2024

• Preliminary competition: Stop which took place last Thursday, the 23rd. Each candidate shows up in a swimsuit, demonstrating confidence; and in formal wear, when grace and elegance are valued. Alejandra did not win any of these categories.
• Interview: Stage that took place last Friday, the 24th. Each candidate tells their story, how they want to inspire people and why they want the title of Miss Universe Argentina. With this, the jury can ask questions related to the candidate’s personal life, to evaluate whether she could represent all women in the country.
• I commit: The candidate must show responsibility, with sympathy and gratitude towards the brands and people who support her.
