Marcelo Serrado spoke about the panic attack he recently had on a flight between Brazil and the United States in an interview that aired on Fantastic this Sunday, 9.

“I got on the flight from here to Orlando. When the door closed, I already felt something. The fear of freaking out. Then you start projecting the future. Soon I’ll see myself there, lying on the ground, they have to deflect the plane, your heart starts pounding,” he said.

He received help from another passenger, also a pilot. “Talking to him calmed me down,” she remarked.

Marcelo Serrado also recounted the moment he discovered he was suffering from the health problem: “December 9, 2020. Covid time. I lost a friend, Eduardo Galvão. I was in a hotel and I started feeling strange sensations. I went to the doctor . He said: ‘You are having a panic attack, anxiety syndrome’. How do you treat it?
