The singer spoke to Famosos e Celebridades during the João Rock festival

Samuel Rosa is ready for the new phase of his career. After the dissolution of the group Skank, the singer returned to the stage, this time as a soloist at the João Rock festival, to present his new single, “Segue o Jogo”, to the public.




With a setlist featuring the band’s major hits, Samuel explained that he’s excited to start adding more of his solo work to the show’s repertoire. In a chat with Famosos e Celebridades during João Rock, the singer explained what we can expect from his new album, arriving on June 26

“The album highlights different aspects, but people aren’t scared,” reassured Samuel Rosa, saying that the album will remind us a bit of Skank. “Who did they want to send to Camisa de Vênus? To Rappa?” he joked. “There’s no way to do it,” completed.

Furthermore, the singer went on to explain that Skank played a lot with genres, something that stems from their restlessness. “We wanted to do everything”, pointed. Therefore, his solo work now follows the same imprint. “It indicates certain aspects and things like that. There’s reggae, there’s songs, there’s something a little bit bossa,” She said.

In fact, according to him, the song “Segue o Jogo”, the first of the project to be released to the public, has a sister within the album, called “Não Dentro Dó”. “It’s nice”, said Samuel Rosa. “There is a song that opens the album, which I did with Carlos Rennó”, the singer revealed, referring to the “Written in the Stars” composer. The track recently took off on social media. “I wrote two songs with them. There’s one that I think will go really well in the show. It’s called ‘Me Give You,'” yet completed.

“So, that’s the spoiler. You’ll hear it on June 26th,” He eventually released Samuel Rosa.
