Neymar Jr. and Bruna Biancardi consecrate their daughter in an evangelical temple

Neymar Jr. shared the moving photos of her daughter’s consecration with her followers on Instagram Maviethe result of his relationship with Bruna Biancardiat the Lagoinha Alphaville Evangelical Church, in Barueri, São Paulo.

In the published images, Neymar expressed his gratitude to the pastor, writing: “The day of Mavie’s consecration. Thank you, André Fernandes”. Little Mavie, just eight months old, enchanted everyone with her baby pink dress, bow in her hair and silver sandals.

The consecration in the evangelical church took place a few days after Mavie’s baptism in the Catholic church Basilica Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima, in Cotia. This act reflects respect for the beliefs of both parents.

In the evangelical tradition, baptism is reserved for when a person reaches the age of understanding, generally starting at age 12. In the Catholic tradition, infant baptism is performed by parents, symbolizing the child’s inclusion in the Christian community from birth.
