Eric Roberts’ daughter said that’s why she’s open to productions she auditioned for and didn’t get. “I think it’s important to talk about that. Otherwise people think that everything was so smooth and easy and no, it’s not like that at all. But obviously it looks that way from the outside or at first glance,” she added.

Emma Roberts also said that although the path seems easier for those who have family members in the film industry, she feels pressured. “You have to prove yourself more. Plus, if people haven’t had good experiences with other members of your family, you’ll never have a chance.”

The actress also pointed out that the term “nepobaby” is more harmful to women, arguing that actors with famous relatives are not called that.
