The death of former “Blind Wedding” contestant Andrew Jury while in prison was confirmed by his father last Monday (01). The young man was 33 years old and participated in the 2017 New Zealand edition.

Andrew Jury was on his way to a court hearing when he died. According to his relatives, he was outgoing, spontaneous and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Despite being a communicative person, Jury has struggled with mental issues. In fact, he was remanded in custody at Auckland’s Mt Eden Correctional Centre for assault and possession of a weapon.

During his time on “Blind Wedding”, Andrew found love and married Vicky Gleeson-Stokes. However, the marriage only lasted for the duration of filming.
