In the last weeks of her life, she complained about the difficulty of finding a boyfriend who would accept a woman “with an expiration date.”

In late 2023, in an interview with People magazine, Shannen Doherty expressed despair at the approach of death. “I don’t want to die… I’m not done living. I’m not done loving. I’m not done creating things. I’m not done changing things for the better.”
