Mirassol Futebol Clube speaks out following the controversy between player Yuri Lima and singer Iza; check out the statement!
After the backlash, many Internet users came to the star’s defense and called for Yuri to be fired from the club he plays for. However, the team revealed that they do not interfere in the players’ private affairs.
“The club does not intervene or mediate any contact regarding the private matters of any athlete. Our social networks are open and on Tuesday, after the victory against CRB, in the second division of the Brazilian championship, we had more than 193 thousand followers from all over Brazil”, he said in a statement sent to Extra.
Mirassol said Yuri Lima remains at the club after being exposed by Iza. “The athlete Yuri Lima continues to be available to the technical committee and participates in the club’s activities“, he concluded.
