A A São Paulo court has ordered Elisabeth Morrone, the retired neighbor who called YouTuber Eddy Jr. a “monkey” in 2022, to vacate an apartment in the western part of the capital city of São Paulo.within 90 calendar days, under penalty of coercive measures.

According to the judge’s ruling Laura de Mattos Almeida“the defendant to leave the condominium unit, definitively, within 90 calendar days, under penalty of the adoption of the relevant coercive measures. For non-compliance, I sentence the defendant to pay the legal costs and expenses, in addition to the legal fees, which are set at 10% of the updated value of the cash”.

Elsewhere in the document, the judge found there was no doubt about the pensioner’s antisocial behavior.

“The documentary and testimonial evidence collected in the case leaves no doubt about the antisocial behavior of the owner of the condominium, reflected in the repeated unfounded complaints recorded in the register of condominium incidents, combined with the aggressive conduct, persecution and racist insults of his son towards the resident of unit 54 of block A, captured in the video he made and widely distributed on the internet, which creates incompatibility of cohabitation with the other condominium owners”.

The Court also ruled on a complaint filed by Elizabeth which requested the cancellation of all the sanctions imposed by the condominium and the payment of compensation for moral damages, but the request was rejected.

Remember the case

In October 2022, Eddy Jr. posted a video showing Elizabeth uttering racial slurs when she refuses to ride the elevator with him. The victim filed a complaint, and in July 2023, the pensioner became a defendant on charges of racial slurs and threats. The case remains ongoing
