Maya Mazzafera Reveals Her New Voice, Posts Outburst: ‘I Wanted to Return to My Mother’s Womb’

In the video, the influencer says, “I wanted to go back to my mother’s womb,” and shares more details about her process and transition.

This Tuesday 16th the influencer and presenter Maya Mazzafera She posted a video revealing her voice and took the opportunity to warn the public about the pressure she was under regarding her transition process.

Maya has undergone two surgeries on her voice, the last one being 15 days ago. The influencer explains that the result is not yet definitive and that it will take another two and a half months for a full recovery.

Maya says that when she decided to transition, she wanted to “go back into her mother’s womb.” “I wanted to be as warm and away from everything as possible. But I came back to real life first because so many distorted things started coming out about me that I preferred to hide my face and come to tell you the real story. And the same thing is happening to my voice,” she said.

The influencer has been heavily harassed by the press, followers, and even people who tried to sell an audio that supposedly revealed her voice. After her transition, Maya has not appeared online or in the media speaking, due to an error in the procedure of feminization of her voice, as reported by herself.

“But I came to show the evolution, because many of you were curious. After all, I have worked in the media, on the Internet and on television for so many years that I understand your curiosity. But I also have to make it clear that it is my life and I have to go there often in my time,” he clarified.

In the video, in addition to providing more details about her transition process, Maya takes the opportunity to talk about the terms “trans” and “transvestite.” “Now I can talk more about the topics I want to talk about. And because I know this video is going to be very popular because of the curiosity about the voice, I want to talk about the word ‘transvestite.’ I am a trans woman, I am a transvestite woman. Did you know that the word ‘transvestite’ and ‘transwoman’ are the same thing and a lot of people think that it’s a pejorative name or that it refers to someone who hasn’t had any kind of cosmetic surgery and it has nothing to do with it, you know,” she explained.

She also comments on the “compliments” she receives, but which reproduce transphobia. “Sometimes someone will come up to me and say, ‘Wow, you’re so beautiful, you don’t even look like a trans woman, you look like a real woman.’ I want to look like a transvestite, a trans woman, because I am. And secondly, I am a real woman.”

Throughout the video, Maya was informative in explaining the different aspects of transsexuality and was optimistic about the future. “I, Maya, am becoming very happy, but I have to take it easy because I have so many emotions inside me. I didn’t have a childhood because I was trapped in a body that wasn’t mine and now I want to experience everything I didn’t experience in five minutes.”

He concluded by apologizing for perhaps disappointing some, but stressing the need to respect their personal time. “I want to do a lot for my class, but it will be from the heart and nothing can be asked of me.”
