Marcos Guimarães, a journalist for Cidade Alerta, spoke about the episode on social media
The journalist was hit in the head with a plastic bottle and shared the moment on his social networks. In the video he is talking to the host of the show when someone throws the object.
“Look, they just threw a bottle at us, they hit me with a bottle right now because things are getting tense!”he said nervously.
In the recording, you can also hear people nearby, drug addicts, shouting swear words and insults at the journalist.
Marcos also recalled in his accounts some of the latest troubles he experienced. “Almost run over, almost robbed live, hit with a bottle”, the journalist joked.
“It’s all about shooting, punching and throwing bottles, but we like what we do!” completed.
